Friends on The Estuary: Donation

This mat is entitled, “Friends on The Estuary”. It celebrates the ambitious undertaking of Pugwash and area residents who have purchased this house on the estuary with the mandate of stewardship for the land, water, wildlife and birds of this beautiful area. The house is a place for recreation, education and fellowship and a base for workers of the land and water.

I am donating the mat to the annual Fall Feast and silent auction of The Friends of The Pugwash Estuary (FOPE) held at the Northumberland Links Golf Course on September 9, 2017. 

It is hooked with recycled and new wools and yarns on linen, presented in a painted pine frame. It is 20” x 30”, hooked in 2017 and valued at $675 CDN.
