My Wool Addiction

Designing and Hooking rugs has been my passion since 2006, but this past year the drive to create is so strong that my studio space is cluttered daily with works in progress. I often have three types of frames set up with linen canvases, drawn designs that can change as I go along. There is an always growing collection of over-dyed recycled wools and alternate fabrics stacked neatly in an orderly, disorderly fashion facing me, inspiring me, but the real stash is hidden in the next space in big bins. I know that I am addicted to wool, and slightly allergic, but, I just have to hook daily or I feel that my day is not complete.
